Solid choice for delicious Mediterranean food. Their kabobs are juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the hummus is creamy and full of flavor. The portions are generous, especially with the combo plates, which come loaded with fresh salad, rice, and warm pita bread. The chicken shawarma is another standout - tender, flavorful, and satisfying. The restaurant has a casual vibe and it's a great place to grab a hearty, flavorful meal in the area!

The food here was so great! We came here afterwork to enjoy some yummy food. And they did not miss. As soon as you walk in the food smells unbearably amazing. We were (a group of 6) seated instantly. If you love chicken Shawarma you will enjoy the plate! The combination plate a colleague of mine got was amazing.

We had a wonderful meal here! The service was attentive. The food was a lot for your money. The ambiance is standard for a European restaurant. It's a little dark inside but great open seating. They have great food in big portions. Stuff was super helpful. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic food! The vegetarian sampler is always solid. Great baba ganoush, hummus and I love the stuffed grape leaves. We've ordered various kabobs which are moist and seasoned well. Staff is nice at pickup.

my wife and I had the beef kabob and the combination plate. It was heavenly! Flavors are complementing each other. The texture and the colors are wonderful. The garlic-mayo took our tastes buds out of the park-So delicious. The staffs are all accommodating, friendly and professional. The ambiance is also commendable, just the right size/seating. great table presentation and the air circulation is refreshing. I like this place, highly recommend it. PS, Their Baklava is perfect, its not too sweet (like what I commonly encounter) it has layer/depths of flavor. Definitely worth trying.

Many of the dishes here were tasty, but service was questionable. Going to start with the food and then talk about the service issues. Food with our favorites on top - Baba Ghanoush - this eggplant dish seems to vary quite a bit depending on the restaurant, but we thought the texture was on point and everyone liked the flavor, including my kids (which is a first). Hummus - super thick and creamy. I really liked the pomegranate, which added a hint of sweetness. Combination Platter - comes with one koftah, one beef, and one chicken kebob. I was surprised that I liked the chicken kebob the best - very tender and flavorful. The kebobs come with garlicky white paste (toum), that the adults liked but the kids didn't particularly care for. On the side was some traditional pairings including a roasted tomato, green bell pepper, onions, and rice. Cheese Borak - gooey cheese inside a thin crispy fried shell. It was definitely a kid pleaser, but it's something I'm not used to for a Mediterranean meal. Kibbeh Labneh - reminded me of comfort food and something I really wanted to like. Ultimately, not something I would order again for our family based on how much was consumed. The fried kibbeh lose most of their texture in the yogurt sauce. I found the sauce to be a bit underwhelming on seasoning and a little gloppy. Service issues - We were greeted at the door before noon and for a good period of time we were there, there were two other small groups and our group of four (pretty empty restaurant). Issue 1 - Slow initial service - seemed like some kind of staffing problem since we didn't see anyone at the front of the house until 15 minutes after we were seated. When a staff member showed up, a person at another table tried to snipe them, but they attended to us first since we were the first there. Issue 2 - Mistaken order - our server was an older gentleman. He took our order by memory. When our Cheese Borak order arrived, it came with Hummus. We told the server, we didn't order Hummus, we ordered Baba Ghanoush. He assured us it was ok and the Baba Ghanoush was coming, so we mistakenly thought the hummus came with the Cheese Borak. Thankfully, we really liked the hummus, but there were 3 errors in our order which is crazy to think about. Please write down the order!!! The three errors - didn't order Hummus, got a regular portion of Baba Ghanoush instead of a side, our order of Fattoush was never placed. I believe they charged us correctly based on what they served us. Issue 3 - some self service and flagging down waitstaff required - We got our own cups of water. When our first two dishes arrived, we still had not received napkins or silverware. Thankfully, at that point a younger gentleman took over (probably someone who normally handles the front of the house), got us utensils, and we didn't have any service issues afterwards. I'm not usually bothered by service, but I was definitely annoyed at the end when I looked at the bill and the mistakes. It didn't help that the suggested tip was for 20-25%, implying at least average service. Maybe they were having a bad service day...

Best $45 I ever spent in recent times ! This review today is for their iftar buffet (Iftar is around sunset during the period of Ramadan for those not familiar). Although the price is steep, it felt worth the price. The quality of everything was just excellent. I don't know the names of everything I had but everything was delicious and so fresh. It was clear to me that the owners and chefs took great pride in what they put out. They were so happy and so were the customers. I don't believe the buffet menu is the same every day. When I went in yesterday, the spread had a lot of things I wouldn't normally see in a buffet like mini shwarmas. There was a good variety of items and there was definitely nothing stale from the previous day. The desserts were also heavenly. I chanced upon the buffet on my way back from my evening walk. I'd recommend being there at 7:00 pm. For a weeknight, it was packed. I believe you can also make reservations, if you want to be safe. I want to shout from rooftops - go here ! If you enjoy Mediterranean food, this was by far the best Mediterranean buffet, I've ever had !

This was my first time trying The Garden and I am so glad I did! The atmosphere was very nice and peaceful, granted we went at night so it was a bit slower. The service was great , our server Maya was one of the best and most attentive servers I've met! She was so friendly, polite and incredibly sweet! The food was so delicious and it came out hot. The food was a decent portion and very tasty! I recommend giving this place a try if you're in the mood for very good Middle Eastern food!

Looking for the best Mediterranean Cuisine in the OC? We came upon this busy Mediterranean Restaurant. It's a popular place for Sunday family lunches. While we were there, they had 3 huge groups.
